DIY SOS has long been a staple of British television, with the BBC One show organising community initiatives to help families in need achieve amazing home makeovers since 1999. This year, we’re thrilled to announce that Harris has partnered with the show to supply Nick Knowles and his crew with a complete range of decorating essentials to support them throughout the entire series, including brushes, rollers, trays, prep tools, and more. For series 34, we've supplied the DIY SOS team with everything they need to tackle each build with confidence. Our donated, as-seen-on-TV products include a comprehensive range of brushes for cutting-in and detail work, rollers and trays for efficient coverage on larger surfaces, extension poles for reaching those tricky high spots, dust sheets to protect the spaces being transformed, and essential prep tools including scrapers and filling knives to ensure every surface is perfectly prepared.

From the initial prep work through to those final finishing touches, Harris products have been there at every stage, helping the DIY SOS volunteers and tradespeople work efficiently and achieve the quality finishes these families deserve. Whilst we're still waiting to see exactly how our tools feature across the series as episodes continue to air, we know they're playing their part in creating homes that will make a real difference to people's lives.
The Harris team had the privilege of attending the reveal day for the Kidderminster build, which was an experience that truly brought home the impact of what DIY SOS achieves. Meeting Nick Knowles and the crew, we witnessed firsthand the care and dedication that goes into every project. Nick addressed the entire crew, emphasising just how vital the transformation was to the family involved, and his genuine warmth with both the family and everyone who'd contributed was remarkable to see.
What struck us most was how down-to-earth and approachable everyone was, from Nick himself to the volunteers and tradespeople who'd generously given their time and expertise. Watching the family see their newly transformed home for the first time, knowing our tools had played even a small part in that moment, was incredibly moving. It perfectly encapsulated what DIY SOS is all about: communities coming together, armed with passion, skill, and the right equipment, to create something truly meaningful.
